I work at an office, and the Mi Fit app was creating small activities of small walks (to the coffee machine) and syncing it to Google Fit. I actually turned off the syncing of Mi Fit to Google Fit. I have it turned on, but I think it's not doing anything.Р”Р„nd Last question is what are the benefits of using Google Fit vs just using the Mi Fit app.

I have not been able to find anything about this, but I'm guessing this feature is only functional on Android Wear OS when Google Fit is running on a smartwatch that has a heart rate sensor. It says 'Allow Google Fit to read, collect & store body sensor data, including your heart rate.'. If you enable this, Google Fit will track activities such as walking, running, etc. If you disable this, Google Fit will just be a 'database' which you can sync data to. Google Fit describes this as 'Allow Google Fit to collect & store data'. Sadly, this was the reason why I bought this Mi Band 3 in the first place. This means the Heart Rate is *not* synced to Google Fit. In the Mi Fit app where you configure to sync to Google Fit, it says 'Steps and sleep data will be synced to Google Fit'. I recently bought a Mi Band 3, and googled to find any info on syncing data from the Mi Band 3 to Google Fit. I'm a google fan with almost everything but not sure what I gain from using Google Fit. But at the same time Google fit doesn't record data from the Mi Band, it gets it from the Mi Fit app.

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I know they are connected since the Weight changes. And the Heart rate and Sleep are not transferred to Google Fit. However the steps from Mi Fit never match Google Fit. When I change my weight in Mi Fit it is updated to Google Fit in a matter of seconds. In the settings of both Apps they say connected to the other app. I have the Mi Fit app installed as well as the Google Fit app.
